| Externally
Pressurized Expansion Joints |
| This heavy duty expansion
joint is used in applications with large amounts of axial movement.
DME offers a standard 350 Series single expansion joint with 4",
6", and 8" axial travels. For movement up to 16"
axial travel, a dual expansion joint can be designed. It must
be placed in the center of the piping run as it compresses from both
ends. |
 |
| Beveled
Weld End Externally Pressurized |
As in other styles of expansion joints, beveled
weld end designs can be increased in length with minimal cost impact.
DME will design the appropriate expansion joint for your application.

Victaulic
Groove Externally Pressurized |
For installation convenience,
victaulic grooved ends can be provided on all externally pressurized
expansion joints. Special alloys can always be furnished on
request.

| Plate
Flange Externally Pressurized |
Carbon steel plate flanges are used in most
externally pressurized joint designs. The internal pipes act
as flow liners to keep a smooth flow. |

| Forged
Flanged Externally Pressurized |
Forged flanges are provided for higher pressure
applications or when required by specifications. DME can custom
build all stainless steel joints for corrosive applications.

| Dual
Externally Pressurized Flanged |
Dual expansion joints compress from both directions.
This style expansion joint can be designed for 16" of movement
or more. The joint must be placed in the middle of the piping
run to function properly. |
