DME Inc. fabricates stainless steel expansion joints in our 40,000 square foot Santa Fe Springs facility. Inconel 625, T-316L stainless, Hastelloy C-276 and Alloy X are some of the other alloys that are available to you for use on special applications. We also manufacture our bellows expansion joints in a variety of designs and styles for most any piping system. All of our bellows capsules and expansion joints are manufactured according to EJMA guidelines. We can manufacture large and small single ply and multi-ply bellows for you that can range from 1-1/2” models to as large as 104” in diameter ducting joints. We also have universal bellows joints available for you that are composed of 2 bellows joined together by a common connector and capable of absorbing axial compression, lateral deflection and angular rotation all at the same time. We manufacture ducting bellows that can be used for a variety of ducting or low pressure applications. We also can manufacture high temperature exhaust bellows for your engine exhaust systems. Externally pressurized expansion joint models designed to absorb large amounts of axial movement and can be designed for high pressure applications. The flexible element in this type of expansion joint is protected by an outer casing for more durability and a built in safety feature.

Non-standard and metric sized expansion joint models can also be made for you when needed. Our production equipment and extensive range of tooling makes it possible for us to meet your custom requirements and delivery needs. We also try to maintain a large selection and inventory of materials in order to provide our customers with fast delivery times and prompt shipping schedules for their orders. DME also provides rebuilding services for our customers when it is necessary to rebuild an expansion joint rather than purchasing a new one. It may also be a cost effective alternative to rebuild an expansion joint where custom fittings, stainless and alloy flanges need only to be re-worked in order save cost. DME will sandblast and re-machine your fittings as needed. Our replacement bellows are matched as close as possible to the original design. Customers should provide accurate pressure, temperature and movement specifications in order to insure an exact expansion joint replacement.
